Our Services
ZTAG- Gunless Laser Tag (mobile or at our location)
ZTAG puts a new twist on traditional laser tag. We have swapped guns for light weight smart watches. No triggers, no buttons to push, and no bulky gear or cords. Even better we can come to you. So long as we have access to electricity and some green space. Our system can handle up to the size of a football field.
Perfect for ages 6 and up and with up to 6 games to choose from we have something for everyone at your event. We arrive about 30 minuets before your event to set up and facilitate the whole event. So you can relax and make memories.
We recommend at least 10 participants and depending on the space no more than 20 at one time. (if you have more than 20 let us know when booking. We have ways to accommodate larger groups if the space allows)
Game Modes
Zombie Tag
In this game, some players are randomly chosen to be zombies, identified by the red light on their watches, while humans are identified by the green light. Zombies try to tag as many humans as possible within the time limit to turn them into zombies. Humans have a set number of lives (between 1 and 4), and zombies must tag them enough times to convert them.
For added excitement, we can include doctors. Doctors can heal humans, giving them another chance to stay human after being tagged by a zombie.
Keep Away
Four players start with a virtual ball, shown as a blinking light on their watches. The rest of the players have red lights. The goal is to hold onto the blinking light as long as possible to score points, while avoiding the players with red lights. If a red player tags you, the blinking light transfers to them, and they start scoring points. It’s a high-energy game of running and strategy!
Rock, Paper, Scissors
This is a team-based tag game with a fun twist! Each team represents one of the classic Rock, Paper, Scissors choices:
Red: Rock
Green: Paper
Blue: Scissors
Players’ watches light up with their team color, and the goal is to grow your team by tagging players you "beat" in Rock, Paper, Scissors. For example, Red (Rock) tags Blue (Scissors) to convert them, but they need to avoid Green (Paper), which can convert them. The team with the most players wins!
Red Light, Green Light
This movement-based game is simple and fun! When players’ watches turn green, they run to score points. When the watches turn red, everyone must freeze. Move when you shouldn’t, and you risk being eliminated! It’s all about quick reflexes and timing.
Virtual & Mixed Reality Gaming (ages 13 +)
Virtual Reality (VR) fully immerses players in a digital world, blocking out the real environment. With a VR headset, players can experience lifelike courses in Golf+, feeling as if they’re actually standing on famous fairways like Pebble Beach or St. Andrews.
Mixed Reality (MR) blends the digital and real worlds, allowing virtual objects to interact with physical space. In Spatial Ops, players move around a real environment while seeing and engaging with digital obstacles, cover, and opponents. It’s like stepping into an action-packed video game, but you can still see and navigate the real world around you.
We provide the equipment and space for your event. We also facilitate the event so you can relax and enjoy the event with your friends.
We do offer an Adults only Golf+ event hosted at the Local Joint in Monroe, WI. Check Yes on the form if this is something you are interested in. We have beverages music and stream the gameplay on TV’s for everyone to enjoy. We also have beverages available and you can bring your own food or have it catered.

Golf+
Golf+ is a fully immersive virtual reality golf experience, perfect for players of all skill levels. Play iconic courses like Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, and 26 others, all brought to life with stunning visuals and realistic physics. Our weighted golf club attachments enhance the experience, giving you the feel of a real swing.
Choose from Stroke, Match, or Scramble play, and enjoy unrestricted hitting—no waiting for turns! Hit when you're ready or watch your buddy take their shot.
For even more excitement, we can transport you to Las Vegas to experience Topgolf in VR, where you can play any Topgolf game mode.
Up to four players can join the action, with gameplay streamed live to our TV—so guests waiting their turn can watch, cheer, and stay engaged in the fun
Spatial Ops
Spatial Ops is a groundbreaking mixed-reality game that blends virtual action with the real world. Using advanced technology, players navigate their physical space while engaging in dynamic battles. Spatial Ops offers a variety of modern game modes, including Team Deathmatch, Free-for-All, Domination, and Capture the Flag. Unlike traditional laser tag we have the ability to change maps with the click of a button for a fresh and exciting experience every time.
Up to 4 players can compete at once, with live gameplay streamed to our TV so everyone—whether playing or watching—stays entertained and part of the action. It’s a thrilling and innovative way to play like never before!
YMCA Partnership
We’re excited to partner with the Green County YMCA in Monroe, WI, to bring you an action-packed ZTAG birthday experience! Our ZTAG birthday package is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00–1:00 PM, with an included event room for presents and snacks from 1:00–2:00 PM.

Want more ZTAG more often? Join our ZTAG club at the “Y”. Our club meets every Wednesday 4:30 to 5:30 pm. One full hour of all things ZTAG. Our sessions follow the YMCA session time line. The next session, Winter Session 2, beings the week of February 24th, sign up now!

My Background
Hey everyone!
My name is Eric, and I’m the proud owner of WatchOut, LLC—a mobile gunless laser tag and virtual reality gaming business based in Monroe, Wisconsin. With over eight years of experience as a full-time elementary physical education teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to keep kids active, engaged, and confident in their abilities. Through my work as a teacher, I’ve always strived to create engaging, age-appropriate lessons that emphasize, the importance of an active lifestyle, and I wanted to bring that same energy and passion outside the classroom.
I started WatchOut as a way to offer kids and adults another outlet for staying active, especially for those who may not enjoy traditional sports. I realized there was a need for movement-based games that offered the excitement of video games without the sedentary lifestyle they often promote. That’s where ZTAG came in—this game is perfect for getting kids and adults to move while also promoting social interaction and teamwork, all while avoiding the pressure of performing a traditional sports skill. I’ve watched kids build confidence through play, which often translates to success in other physical activities.
As technology has evolved, I saw the potential of virtual reality and mixed reality as another exciting way to keep kids moving. Just like ZTAG, our VR/MR experiences are movement-based, but with the added excitement and immersive technology of modern games. The games we offer are designed to be social, team-based, and fun, creating an engaging environment where kids (and adults!) can enjoy healthy, screen-based play while connecting with others.
In today's world, online gaming can be filled with risks, from inappropriate content to cyber-bullying, and it’s a growing concern for parents and guardians. At WatchOut, we provide a safer alternative to the dangers of online gaming. When you book an event with us, whether it’s for kids or adults, you can trust that the experience is supervised, safe, and free from the risks of online gaming. You get the online feel but the experience and safety of being in-person. We create an environment where everyone can play without worrying about the negative experiences often associated with gaming in an online space.
